Okay here you have the famous dog statue, do you know the story of this? It's in Shibuya and a famous landmark.

Me and Phil on the grounds of the Imperial Palace.

At the Imperial Palace...

Okay this is in Shibuya, their equivalent to Time Square, but so so so much bigger. Also, a video of a little sushi bar. They put it on a conveyer belt and then you pick what you want. Amazing.
Man, I'm jealous. There are three aspects to Japanese culture that I just love: their garden design, their traditional architecture, and their ink paintings. So basically, I love the Japanese aesthetic. At least their traditional aesthetic. Japan has been on my list for a long time. However, Tokyo or Kyoto (have you ever noticed that those two cities are anagrams?) aren't necessarily what draws me. I've always just wanted to rent a car and drive all over the country side visiting shinto and Buddhist temples, stopping in small villages, and exploring the rugged landscape. And then, of course, I would reserve a day to spend the Hello Kitty store. :)
