The new album, Burst Apart, from The Antlers came out recently. They initially premiered their entire album at a live SXSW show. And, the album, yeah it's amazing, it's The freaking Antlers. His voice is haunting, but yet so moving. Here is a track from their new album, Every Night My Teeth Are Falling Out.

ReplyDeleteAnyway, when I saw that you had posted on the Antlers I was like, "Oh yeah, I know them." but then I thought about it and I couldn't think of a single song of their's that I knew. Turns out I mysteriously have the Hospice album, and yet, haven't listened to a single song from it. Not sure how I got it, but I'm liking what I'm hearing from these videos so I'm going to go ahead and upload it on my iPhone for tomorrow's work soundtrack.
By the way, what did you think of Thao + Mirah?

Wow, it looks like excellent writing runs in the family! I listened to Hospice yesterday, and it really is great! Thanks for turning be on to them! I'll have to marinate in Hospice for a while before checking out the new album.
